ASCENSION DANCE WORKSHOP TONIGHT

JARED

is teaching a dance workshop tonight! I don't think I say it enough but I'm so proud of him! Even though dance takes up a lot of his time, and sometimes I'm pretty sad that I'm not able to spend time with him...okay maybe a little more than a little sad, I am really proud of him! He only started dancing the end of his 1st year of college and now, not even 2 years later, he's grown so much as a dancer! I remember when we were first going out, he was so proud that he made Ascension and used to come back to his dorm and show me his new piece that he learned in the confined space of his dorm room. Yeah, sometimes dance will make me sad, but everytime I see him perform, I love it! I love screaming his name at the top of my lungs whenever I see him dance, even though most times he's so concentrated in what he's doing he doesn't hear/see me but thats okay! I just want to be the most supportive person ever to him because he does the same and more for me!

So if you're reading this and you have nothing to do tonight, come out and support him at 8 pm in RIMAC!

I definitely had the time of my life at SUNGOD. It wasn't just the great music, I love the atmosphere of SUNGOD. Everyone lets loose...maybe its just the booze but I love everyone here! Drake (our headliner) was disappointing but B.O.B. and Relient K showed an amazing performance!


Elizabeth Una Kim's brilliant idea. Inspired from the Jak and Jill Blog,we each made our own paperbag Chanel purse. It was a great day for Diamond Trina and Eve drinking watermelon lemonade with shrimp tacos inbetween the main acts of SUNGOD

Lucy Chen. This girl actually went to all her classes on Sungod...I told you she was crazy! She also made the best tasting guac I have ever tasted along with the best shrimp tacos I have ever tasted. It was literally heavenly and everyone thought so. We also had a fun jam session with Lucy playing the guitar and Liz's beautiful voice.

Liz Kim. Scratch what I said about Lucy, she's the crazy one! Just kidding! This girl lost her blackberry on sungod through her paper chanel bag because it had a hole in it. But she's never worried. Hakuna Matata right Liz? and guess what, a girl found her phone and ended up calling Lucy with it! This girl is blessed with miracles (this is the 2nd time she lost her phone at an event).

Eric Chou. My best friend from high school! We had some great times together. He always had the best stories to tell, never disappointed.

I know its been a delay!


This event was run by Liz Kim and Myself as well as the help of our wonderful staff. This party was me and Liz's blood, sweat, and tears literally. The week before launch, we spent Tuesday night until 4 am posting posters up on UCSD campus as well as all Wednesday posting posters up in the dorms of each college. UCSD makes it impossible to publicize with 6 colleges and its enormous campus. It was definitely worth it though. We had a great turn out and definitely hit over our capacity of 258 people.

These are behind the scenes pictures of our spreads in NO 15. Kevin, Liz, and I doing hair and make up for our Eastern Promises shoot.

Jared and all his apartment mates came by and stayed for awhile. It made me so happy that they were there! They are like my 2nd family...literally Ryan is my cousin, Jenny is his girlfriend, Uriel De La O is ...the cookie monster. AND Kevin is my 2nd boyfriend! I love my dysfunctional Asian family, even if they're not all asian.

I love My Girlfriend

I love her... period. She helps me get through all my times of trouble and allows me to see the world for as it is, not how i perceive it. she really is heaven sent and even though I feel like things are just so difficult for me and her and that sometimes life seems to want to pull us apart, I'm ever more reminded why I am glad God has decided to make her my woman in this time of my life. Life is funny like that and He is really amazing even more to that extent. Prayers are answered and replies are made to every request to the Lord. I Love her, but I love my Heavenly Fatherly even more... much love baby. Thanks for being the best, I'm sorry for when I get short with you and when I act like a fool, but I know you're always there to accept me with a smile and a hug.

Kevin is...Almost Famous

Last night Jared and I went to go see our very best friend, Kevin's play. He's been working on it since the beginning of this quarter and recieved the lead male role for it! Kevin is definitely growing up, becoming a famous actor!! What he really want's to do is write screenplays... or at least thats what I think he wants to do! Afterwards, we went back to Jared's apartment pigged out on chocolate dipped strawberries and bananas and red velvet cake and watched Almost Famous. Jared's never seen it before but I don't think he was dissappointed! I absolutely love Kate Hudson's performance as Penny Lane. I love her!! absolutely adore her!! I definitely live for nights like these, when I get to spend time with some of my best friends watching a good movie.

Midterms morning!!!

Today I have 2 midterms. But I'm skipping all my other classes to study for them, even the required ones like...chinese. But today, I'm not nervous, actually I feel refreshed! I read a psalm this morning that really encouraged me. It reminded me why I'm saved again, and it makes my insides feel all good... and even though this picture has nothing to do with anything in my life right now, that was definitely a very fun day! Climbing the pyramids with 3 of my best friends, and yes I do consider Kevin and De La some of my best friends even they don't because well...I not only spend so much time with them, but they really care about me! and I really care and love about them!!! if that doesn't constitute a best friend, then I don't know what does!!

UGHHHHHH midterms are crazy!! i survived mine, lucky for me, but not for the dinosaur. But I think God has blessed me truly by aiding me and allowing me to stand resolute in this time. I've felt pretty close with His presence. But man this tuesday after procrastinating like none other... i had to study all starting monday.

After 4.5 hours of sleep monday morning and a drive from walnut to SD, i had to study and cram for my 40% nutrition midterm! lol yipes! a good mini nap, studying from 12 - 8 am straight (with one hour of sleep) and study food with Delia did the trick. Yummy sushi, vitamin energy drinks, chips, naan, hummus and other goodies.... sighs the deliciousness. She also made me a cute as hell drawing that made me melt lol i'll see if she'll let me post it soon. But I was able to do pretty well and it was all just by His will and blessing

Afterwards... wow I hibernated like a bear in the wintertime. 4 hour nap tuesday... 9 hours of sleep wednesday... 3 hour nap thursday.

stress free week

Oh how I wish this could be a stress free week.

Though with 2 midterms, it's pretty hard to keep focus. I'm just so glad that the No 15 Launch Party is over...for those of you who don't know, I'm the Event Coordinator for No 15 Magazine. Like everything in life, it takes work...lots of work...and did I mention stress? At least it was only for a week and now its over! and fortunately, people loved the party and the magazine...surprise. It also helped that my partner in crime, Liz Kim...or Trina was there to always feel all my pain! I love her. 2 midterms on Thursday and then I'm about to go on a shopping spree with Lucy Chen and vent all my frustrations into spending as much money in my budget that I can.

And Jared?

Yesterday, he took me to see Lupe Fiasco in Hollywood...AMAZING

Today, hes scrambling, stressing, and panicking to finish a lab report and study for a midterm all by 8 am.

The picture has nothing to do with my life right now, except for the fact that it really makes me want to sew and make a dress like that...shouldn't be too hard! I miss having free time. Hobbies make me more sane. I wish I could dance, sew, draw, and take more pictures.
